Product Review of SENSEEZ™ vibrating cushions

The SENSEEZ red octagon cushion

I’m always seeking out new products to benefit my clients and readers. The SENSEEZ™ company provided me with a bright new cushion for review.  It arrived quickly and was neatly packaged.  My son, who has Sensory Processing Disorder and generally LOVES getting packages (as most children do), was very excited to receive the cushion!

The SENSEEZ™ cushion is sturdy, brightly colored, and made with quality materials.  It stood up to many tosses by children I work with!  The foam is dense and provides a sturdy surface for little bums.  Also, I wiped down the cushion with anti-bacterial wipes between uses and the vinyl fabric appeared durable.

The cordless feature was great so that it was very portable.  Of course, when a child loves something it’s important that he be able to bring it with him wherever he goes.
I found that the pillow was used for much more than just for sitting.  My clients absolutely loved hugging the pillow and feeling its vibration throughout their body’s muscles.  They enjoyed having the control of when it vibrated!  I did not show them that the vibratory component could be removed as I wanted to ensure I tested the product as designed, however, this is a SUPER COOL feature!  It saves the purchase of another vibratory massager and was compact.

In conclusion, the Senseez™ vibratory cushion is an AWESOME product!  I added it to my new book, The Special Needs SCHOOL Survival Guide to ensure readers can access information about the pillows.  They would be a wonderful benefit to circle time for younger students since the vibration may help to increase attention AND function as a visual cue to exactly where little bums should sit.  Also, I would recommend adding the cushions to sensory rooms as a calming tool.

Many people struggle with sensory processing difficulties. Regulating emotions, knowing when to eat, drink, go to the toilet, and feeling your breathing and heart rate all depend on our internal awareness.
