With the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, kids sometimes have a bit more energy than usual. Creating fun crafts is a great way to keep them busy while working on fine motor skills. They also get the chance to create some adorable Christmas crafts to either give as gifts or use for decorations. These 21 Christmas Crafts for Kids make it easy to get your little ones crafting in no time. The hard part is deciding which fun craft to do first! Take time this busy holiday season to make something beautiful with your kids…along with some wonderful memories.

With just some cutting help from an adult, even little ones can make this Tissue Paper Christmas Tree.

Tissue Paper Christmas Tree Craft

Older kids who can cut out shapes will be able to make this project mostly on their own. You can decorate your tree with pom poms, stickers, stars, or even colored tissue paper squares to make it your own. Note: When using glue with tissue paper, a small amount of glue goes a long way. Too much, and the tissue paper will absorb it and start sticking to little fingers or tearing.

Pom Pom Pinecone Trees

Pinecones get a Christmas makeover with a little glue and some colorful pom poms. Your child can make this project with any colors they like. These would be so pretty with red, white and green pom poms. You can also purchase tinsel pom poms to add a little pizzazz or even add some glitter.

Styrofoam balls and a few simple craft materials come together for two super cute Christmas crafts.

Many homes don’t have chimneys, and it is inevitable that children will ask questions about Santa’s arrival. If you and your child make one of Santa’s magic keys, they won’t have to worry about how he will visit them on that magical night. Your child can decorate their special key for Santa any way she likes.
