Easter Peeps Sensory Play Dough Activity

I love spring and eating Peeps candy. The best thing about today’s sensory activity is that you can play with this fun dough that engages multiple senses including tactile, smell, and taste. Easter Peeps Sensory Play Dough is also awesome because it’s colorful and kids of all ages love it.

Ingredients:

4 Peeps Marshmallows

4 tbsp powdered sugar

2 tsp coconut oil

Gel food coloring in fun Easter colors

Directions:

Add all ingredients to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for about 20 seconds, until peeps begin to swell.

Remove from the microwave and add a few drops of gel food coloring.  (Note, I used pink food coloring here. Use pink for pink Peeps, purple for purple Peeps, and so on. OR mix up colors for more fun!)

Did you know we have exclusive activity packs for kids? They are designed to work on fine motor, cognitive/thinking, handwriting, and cutting skills. Click on a photo below or look through our store.

Stir and mix until ingredients are combined, this may take a couple of minutes. Let the dough sit for a couple of minutes, and then knead the dough by hand. If the dough is too sticky add just a few drops more of coconut oil. Enjoy!

Please send a picture of your children making their own dough. We love hearing from you!
